CARE Indonesia, as an International Non Government Organization (INGO), has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit. CARE is currently recruiting the following position for its Project:

SEWING TRAINER (ST)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Sewing Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed Sewing Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Managing Sewing Training in the youth center

· Preparing sewing teaching modules for trainees which cover all sewing lessons include cloth's pattern, how to sew, and other creative sewed products as guidance in learning by teaching process

· Maintain and arrange schedule for Sewing Training

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Assist information, monitoring and evaluation to Sewing Training participants

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

· Other tasks as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A sewing trainer (male/female)

· A minimum of 2 years experience as sewing trainer

· Excellent knowledge about sewing machine and embroidery

· Having excellent sewing skill

· Excellent knowledge in textile/fashion industry

· Able to work based on target and schedule

· Creative and innovative person

· Excellent skill in teaching, motivating and managing class

· Good interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect the students

· Able to make progress report include monthly and final report

MEDICAL DOCTOR (MD)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Medical Doctor has overall responsibility for implementing professional and detailed medical services for youths in Youth Development Project.

The Medical Doctor has to ensure that youths can access medical services and get health information accurately. He/she will meet and interact with the youths in the youth health clinic and gives medical consultation via telephone. He/she also must have willingness to be speaker or trainer of seminars, trainings, workshops etc related with his/her job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Doing general medical check-up for youths who need it when they visit the youth health clinic.

· Being trainer/speaker in the seminars, health trainings etc which are held by Youth Development Project.

· Actively participate to plan trainings, seminars or other youth's activities.

· Giving supports, suggestions and health consultations accurately based on the youth's needs through face-to-face consultation or via telephone by friendly approach.

· Identify referral health providers for youths based on working area where they can get relevant medical treatment, confidential and friendly approaches for youths.

· Refer youths for further medical treatments to assigned health providers if it is needed.

· Giving close coaching for identified problems that can influence youths and promote youth's rights.

· Assist other Youth Development Project staffs to conduct education and training activities.

· Filing all documents related with health consultations appropriately (using confidential code system).

· Reporting of medicine and health equipment distribution in the medical service room.

· Always keep the patient's health information secrecy

· Attending meetings and trainings that are held by supervisor and manager.

· Other tasks that given by supervisor and manager.

QUALIFICATION:

· University degree of Medical Faculty

· Has medical practice licence (Surat Ijin Praktek/SIP)

· Have excellent awareness and understanding to youth's problems

· Have excellent knowledge about medicines without prescription and its effect

· Have excellent knowledge about HIV AIDS, NAPZA and sexual transmitted diseases

· Have good knowledge about gender

· Execellent communication and interpersonal skills

MECHANIC TRAINER (MT)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Mechanic Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed Mechanic Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing mechanic module for trainees which cover all mechanic lessons include dissembling, assembling, firing and repairing electronic equipments

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Maintain and arrange schedule for Mechanic Training

· Conducting regular mechanic training according to the schedule

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

· Assist information, monitoring and evaluation to Mechanic Training participants

· Other tasks as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A mechanic trainer (male/female)

· Minimum diploma from machine department or related discipline

· A minimum of 2 years experience as mechanic trainer

· Excellent language skill in Bahasa Indonesia

· Excellent knowledge in automotive/mechanic industry

· Able to work based on target and schedule

· Excellent skill in teaching, motivating and managing class

· Good interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect the students

· Having his/her own mechanic workshop for practicing the lessons

· Able to make progress report include monthly and final report

JAPANESE TRAINER (JT)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Japanese Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed Japanese Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing Japanese module for trainees which cover Japanese grammars, Japanese alphabets, list of vocabularies, pronunciation and spelling to support four skill components (listening, reading, writing and speaking)

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Conducting regular Japanese training according to the schedule

· Maintain and arrange schedule for Japanese training

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

· Assist information, monitoring and evaluation to Japanese training participants

· Other tasks as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· A Japanese trainer (male/female)

· A minimum diploma degree Japanese education department or related discipline

· A minimum of 2 years experience as Japanese trainer

· Excellent language skill in Japanese and Bahasa Indonesia

· Able to work based on target and schedule

· Excellent skill in teaching, motivating and managing class

· Good interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect the students

· Having good computer skill in Microsoft Office will be advantaged

· Able to make progress report include monthly and final report

HOSPITALITY TRAINER (HT)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Hospitality Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed Hospitality Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing hospitality module for trainees which cover how to cook national/international standardized menus, how to serve people in good manner etc

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Conducting regular hospitality training according to the schedule

· Maintain and arrange schedule for hospitality training

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

· Assist information, monitoring and evaluation to hospitality training participants

· Other tasks as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Two hospitality trainers (male/female)

· Minimum graduated from vocational education or related discipline

· A minimum of 2 years experience working in reputable hotels, restaurants or cafes

· Able to work based on target and schedule

· Able to work in team and under minimum supervision

· Excellent skill in teaching, motivating and managing class

· Good interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect for the students

· Able to make progress report include monthly and final report

ENGLISH TRAINER (ET)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The English Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed English Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing English module for trainees which cover English grammars, list of vocabularies, pronunciation and spelling to support four skill components (listening, reading, writing and speaking)

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Conducting regular English training according to the schedule

· Maintain and arrange schedule for English training

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

COMPUTER TRAINER (CT)

MAIN PURPOSE:

The Computer Trainer has overall responsibility for implementing a professional and detailed Computer Training for youths in Youth Development Project.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Providing computer module for trainees which cover basic computer skill in operating Microsoft Office application (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point)

· Preparing trainee's attendance sheet regularly

· Conducting regular computer training according to the schedule

· Maintain and arrange schedule for Computer training

· Delivering training's lesson in interactive methods and building good relationship with trainees while conducting trainings

· Preparing progress report of trainees include monthly and final report

· Assist information, monitoring and evaluation to Computer training participants

· Other tasks as requested by supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Two computer trainers (male/female)

· University degree of Computer Education Department or related discipline

· A minimum of 2 years experience working in similar position

· Excellent skill in operating computer especially Microsoft Office application

· Excellent skill in teaching, motivating and managing class

· Good interpersonal skills, including patience, willingness to listen and respect for the students

· Able to make progress report include monthly and final report
