CARE Indonesia, as an International Non Government Organization (INGO), has carried out large scale operations in Indonesia, encompassing emergency operations, transitional activities centered on agriculture and nutrition and a range of development initiatives in such areas as water and sanitation, health and micro-credit. CARE is currently recruiting the following position for its Project:

OUTREACH PART TIME WORKER

The Youth Outreach Workers will meet and interact with young people in formal and non formal settings and develop working relationships with young people to ensure that Improving access for youth to improve of youth capacity to cope with developmental task and transition to adult life including Health

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide basic peer support, advice and counseling to young people.

· Refer young people engaged in risky behaviors to the Adolescent Health Centre or other appropriate referral points.

· Provide and distribute accurate health information to young people

· Organize events and/or competitions together with young people

· Develop, produce and distribute IEC material related by health information and youth development.

· Attend meetings, trainings and other duties as directed by supervisor

· Assist other Youth development Project in the provision of education, training and community development / livelihood activities.

· To prepare and maintain all document Youth Development project.

· Applicant must be able to make Monthly report and diary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Applicants must be aged between 18-22 years of age which is considered a genuine occupational requirement in order to provide peer support to other young people.

· Applicant must be fluent in the acehnese language and Bahasa

· applicants for these positions must be able to demonstrate tolerance, flexibility, sense of humour and a non – judgmental attitude to the issues affecting young people and to young people in need.

· Applicants must be able to maintain client confidentiality about personal issues and demonstrate honesty and integrity and also Have a good leadership and mature.

· Applicants must be able to communicate well with different types of young people in different and sometimes challenging environments.

· Applicants must be able to be good listeners and demonstrate ability to summaries and record information in a work diary.

· Applicants who have specific skill and talent, such as English, Music, Japanese, Theatre, and Singing is PREFERABLY

· Ability to work with a team and with minimum supervision and able to work in tight schedule and target

· Knowing and understanding about Microsoft office (word & excel) and grafis design

· Willingness to support and assist activity to education , training and community development / livelihood activities for Youth

· Willingness to work in remote area if needed

· Other task will signed by supervisor
